Stephanie Amurao - Summer Intensive Guest Contemporary Teacher


Stephanie Amurao was born and raised in Vancouver and trained at the Richmond Academy of Dance. She then graduated from The Juilliard School in 2010 and her professional career began with Stadttheatre Bern in Switzerland.

After two seasons, Stephanie joined the Batsheva Dance Company and then danced for L.A. Dance Project. In 2017 she started freelancing based out of Berlin, Germany and works with artists: Noé Soulier, Trajal Harell and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui's company, Eastman. She continues to perform and teach around Europe and is a co-founder of the Berlin-based teaching collective, Mo.Ré.  With her extensive classical and contemporary training and vast professional experience, Stephanie enjoys collaborating with artists of all disciplines and in all capacities. She is always excited to return home to share her love of dance with the students of RAD.
