THE CHILDREN'S DIVISION

Carefully structured programs in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, musical theatre and hip hop provide a well rounded education in dance, and focus on the development of self-confidence and poise. Ballet classes are conducted in the Vaganova Method and students have the opportunity to prepare for entrance to the Royal Academy of Dancing examinations. Students who show interest and meet the required standard will be encouraged to participate in the year-end recitals.

performance opportunities Performances are scheduled throughout the year at local theatres, playhouses and other venues. Stage experience is an essential and fun part of the dance curriculum and is planned to conflict as little as possible with the regular training schedule. Classes present demonstrations towards the end of each term which are open to parents for viewing.
