MUSICAL THEATRE

The Academy offers programs for levels Grade 4 to Pre-Professional. The faculty works to inspire and train a new generation of passionate performers, for whom technique is just a beginning, students will receive professional level instruction in dance, voice and acting and be prepared for the stages of tomorrow.

ACTING

Richmond Academy offers a comprehensive acting training for the aspiring thespian. A regular scene study class is offered for teens with advanced acting skills and experience. Acting privates are also available for everything from audition coaching (film, tv, theatre, and voice-over) to monologue preparation for theatre school auditions, to song interpretation for musical theatre performance. Our classes are focused on integrating all aspects of the actors skill set for a dynamic and effective performance.

VOCAL

Voice training and coaching is available at the Academy. We offer private and semi-private voice lessons emphasizing vocal technique and pedagogy, ear training, repertoire selection, breathing and performance practice. We also offer Royal Conservatory of Music Exams with full preparation, music theory tutorials. Audition and music festival coaching are also offered upon request.
