Students who are seriously intent on pursuing dance, enter this program by audition only. Students are required to commit to the prescribed number of classes for their level and must attend scheduled performance opportunities which occur during the year. If they are chosen to participate in various festivals, their participation is obligatory. The ballet training is primarily the Vaganova Method and at the discretion of the teachers, the students will participate in the Royal Academy of Dancing examinations. The Professional Division includes an intensive Senior Half-Day Program. This highly successful program has received recognition, and respect by such renowned artists as Veronica Tennant, Anna Marie-Holmes, Annette Av Paul, Patti Caplette, Susan Toumine as well as some of North America's most respected dance training institutions.

Dancers receive intensive training in preparation for a career in dance. Technique classes include Pointe, Repertoire, Modern as well as jazz, tap, hip hop and musical theatre. Dancers rehearse and perform in professional theatres, in addition, guest artists from world renowned companies visit the Academy to train and stage their newest choreography. Dancers are brought to their highest individual level by registered teachers who have danced professionally with some of the world’s finest companies. The faculty’s vast knowledge and experience is the foundation for finding placements for these dancers upon graduation, with the world’s finest companies and post secondary institutions. To date, graduates are dancing with the Canadian National Ballet, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Alberta Ballet, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, and studying with such schools as Julliard in New York, Central Ballet in London, England, the dance departments of Ryerson Polytechnic Institute and Arizona State University as well as several other apprenticeship positions around the world.
